Job Description :
  • Coordinate day to day HR functions

  • Maintain accurate and confidential paper and electronic employee record

  • Process personnel status updates, new hire, termination, etc. paperwork in a timely manner.

  • Process bi-weekly payroll, deductions, garnishments, etc.

  • Conduct benefit enrollment and orientation meetings

  • Special project support for HR Manager, an other departments

  • Create monthly employee newsletter and monthly calendar

  • Verify 1-9 documentation and maintain current 1-9 documentation through electronic filing and resolve any issues

  • Verify and Submit (8850 Form) Work Opportunity Credit Forms

  • Conduct pre-employment background check, drug screening and references

  • Run daily timesheet reports

  • Maintain all employee files, including DOT employee files

  • Keep up to date filing

  • Liaison for cleaning company

  • Lead the planning of company/office events

  • Organize monthly birthday lunch

  • Track & maintain Time Off Request

  • Answer employee questions as related to payroll, benefits company policies, etc.

  • Maintain and update bulletin boards and all locations

 

Job Requirements :
Education:   High School Diploma with some college            
 
Experience:  At least 2 years’ experience           
 
Languages:   Fluent English and must speak some Spanish
 
Skills:   Must be extremely organized, able to multi-task, ability to communicate efficiently both written and verbally. Has to be able to get along with many different personalities. Keep a great attitude and be able to handle stressful situations.
 
Licenses, software, etc: Microsoft Office (Power Point, Publisher, Outlook, Word and Excel) Oracle
